Social Media Comes For Manny Pacquiao's Head After He Said "Gays Are Worse Than Animals"

Critics poured out their feelings about  Manny Pacquiao when the boxer said that gay people are worse than animals on Tuesday.

 

Many of his fans threatened to unfollow the professional boxer and politician while others raged abuses on the 37-year-old.

First, Manny, who is currently running for a senate seat in the country’s May elections said this when asked about his views on gay marriages which is against the law in the Philippines.

Pacquiao gave the television interview as part of his campaign for one of 12 seats in the nationally-elected senate. He said:

 “It’s common sense. Do you see animals that go male to male or female to female? So the animals are even better,” Pacquiao told local broadcaster TV5 in an interview aired this week.
“Because they know how to distinguish from male to male or female to female. Right? Now if we allow male to male or female to female, then that makes us worse than animals.”

And then on Tuesday, he posted the picture below on Instagram:
