How police nabbed six kidnappers of CBN governor Godwin Emefiele's wife

Margarete Emefiele, the wife of Cental Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, was kidnapped along the Benin-Agbor Road on Thursday 29 September 2016. She was rescued on Saturday morning  and a suspect also arrested following a combined police and military manhunt.

The Nigerian Police have now reportedly arrested six other suspects linked with the kidnap in Edo State.

According to a police source:
The brave and gallant police officer Abba Kyari (pictured) led the operation to rescue the abducted school girls in Lagos. He also led the team that rescued the mother of the former Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, who was abducted in Delta State in 2012 and the arrest of notorious South West armed robber, ‘Godogodo.’
Recall that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 1.5 billion naira which was later reduced to 100 million naira for Magarate's release. Till now, it isn't clear if any money was paid to secure the  victim's freedom
