The Queen will reportedly visit Nigeria for the traditional installation
ceremony of the Ooni Of Ife according to a report by PM News.
Primeviews Nigeria has gathered in exclusivity that the Queen of
England, Her Majesty Elizabeth Alexandra would grace the coronation
ceremony of the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II,
scheduled to take place of Monday, December 7, 2015.
Other
dignitaries to attend the coronation ceremony in Ile-Ife are President
Muhammadu Buhari; Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN); at least 20
state governors as well as members of the National Executive Council,
among a host of others.
At a press conference, Mr. Biyi
Odunlade, Chairman, Media Committee of the coronation organizing
committee, said that there is a series of activities lined up for the
ceremony. He explained that he was very positive that the Queen of
England and the Commonwealth would attend the function, saying that the
worst that could happen is the Queen could be represented.
