Cultists nabbed after killing boy & girlfriend at Benue State University

21-year-old Solomon Aondoaseer and his girlfriend, Doofan Agbaja, have lost their lives to a cult war at Benue State University, Makurdi.

According to neighbours, Solomo, a student of the Department of Geography at the institution and his girlfriend Doofan, who is a food vendor in the school's neighbourhood, were hacked to death at the former's apartment in the middle of the night on Wednesday 12 October 2016.

Five people have been arrested in relation to the event. The suspects cultists include: Paul Adum (aka Reborn), Thaddeus Ukaaku (aka Waters), Damian Swem (aka Dammy), Terkumbur Gber (aka Shanke) and Teryila Aondona (aka Nasco).

Confirming the incident, Benue State PRO Moses Yamu said:

:The assailants pulled them out of the compound to an open ground in front of the house and hacked them to death with machetes."
