Mexican man captured on camera drowning granddaughter, jailed for 100 yrs

Jose David N was found guilty on several charges bordering on child abuse and muder after CCTV footage revealed him throwing his 3-year-old granddaughter into a swimming pool and abandoning her to drown. The incident took place in Morelia City, Michoacan State of Mexico on 12 August 2015.

After a brief court session on Wednesday, presiding judges, Justices Juan Salvador Alonso Mejia, Ana Lilia Garcia Cardona and Noe Reyes Millan found Jose guilty of the charges and sentenced him to 100 years imprisonment without parole.
