Photos: Marathon Runner Loses First Position After Stray Dog Bites Him During Race

 

Ethiopian runner Mulle Wasihun was clearly leading the race with the wide gap at CS World 10K, in Bengaluru, India when he was bitten by a stray dog. He ended up in 9th position and the organizers say they can't do anything about it.

  

TCS World 10K Bengaluru spokesperson told newsmen:

"Unfortunately it’s something that we can’t control as race organisers. We have raised it with the relevant authorities."
