Saleh Wanjala did the unthinkable yesterday in Bungoma, Kenya by hanging
on a chopper as it took off. Wanjala was part of the crowd that had
gathered to view the body of assassinated businessman, Jacob Juma. He
held on to the chopper taking Juma's body away because he hadn't seen
him.
The pilot had not noticed him until the public’s noise attracted his
attention. He had to navigate through some power lines to save Wanjala.
He was finally dropped on the Bungoma airstrip, where he sustained
serious injuries on his forehead and legs.
