This reportedly happened in the Edolet region in Kenya.

The man seen dangling on the tree borrowed Ksh.45,000 (about N140k) from the Kenya Commercial Bank and placed a bet on Real Madrid to win Atletico Madrid. As you all know, Real Madrid lost the match last Saturday (click here to read about it) and the man committed suicide the next day.
