Two Female Schoolteachers Face Jail Time For Sleeping With Male Student, 16

Shelley Dufresne (pictured left), 33, and Rachel Respess(pictured right), 25, were both taken into custody in September 2014 after the teenage victim allegedly had sex with them in Respess’ flat.

Dufresne has been charged with two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

She was reported to be married at the time of the alleged incident.

And Respess has been charged with not telling the authorities of the alleged threesome.

Her defence attorney, Jeffrey Smith, said in March his client was intoxicated and never had “consensual sex” with the minor.

Dufresne is alleged to have had an ongoing affair with the boy whom she taught at a high school in Destrehan in New Orleans, prosecutors say.

The pair were caught out after the boy told pals he was sleeping with them, police say.

Dufresne has remained free on bond under house arrest since she was detained by cops.

Under the conditions of her arrest she is allowed to attend therapy sessions, Jazzercize classes and help drive her three young children to school and extracurricular activities.

She could face up to 20 years in jails if convicted.
