Thou hath set a table before my enemies...:-). In a bid to foster peace
and understanding in the unsettled region, an Israeli cafe bar revealed a
bold new move on Facebook. Houmous restaurant situated close to
disputed territory in Israel says they are offering 50% off to Arabs and
Jews who dine together. In the post on Facebook, they wrote;
"Scared of Arabs? Scared of Jews? By us we don’t have Arabs! But we also don’t have Jews… By us we’ve got human beings!"
The cafe manager said Kobi Tzafrir says:
"If there’s anything that can bring together these peoples, it’s houmous."
Religious sensitivities are taken into consideration, also kosher and
halal meals are available.
